As SF fans may know, MacMillan Audio have been publishing one book per year from the Dune series by Frank Herbert. On 5th February, Children of Dune will be released. It will be read by Scott Brick, Simon Vance & others. Once we know how many copies we will be getting, we will be making it available for pre order. 20th December

Finally some unabridged copies of Elizabeth Peters' Crocodile on the Sandbank have arrived. Not many! The wholesaler can't keep pace. There's a big order in, but they seem to be like Wiis at the moment.


13th December

We were sad to hear yesterday that Terry Pratchett has been diagnosed with a rare form of Alzheimers. For most fans of his books, this is much worse news than for yours truly. Why? Because I only "discovered" Pratchett about a year ago, when I read Guards! Guards! I've since listened to an unabridged copy of Thud!, plus read Interesting Times, Going Postal, Men at Arms and am currently reading Making Money. If my maths are correct, that still leaves 1,789 Pratchett books to read!


12th December

Finally the long awaited copies of Elizabeth Peters' Crocodiles on the Sandbank are on the way! I believe I'm correct in saying that it was the first Amelia Peabody novel. Copies should be available by 16th December.
